Outdoor Living Built for How You Use It
An outdoor living space is only worth building if you actually live in it. We design patios, kitchens, and structures around how you cook, host, and unwind outside, then build them to tie into the house and stand up to the Texas weather. One team handles the framing, hardscape, gas, water, and electrical, so the finished space works as one design.
A lot of our outdoor work happens alongside a kitchen or whole-home remodel, while the walls are already open and the crew is already on site. It is often the most cost-effective time to extend the living space outward, but we build standalone outdoor projects just as readily.
Full Scope
What We Build Outside

Covered Patios & Pergolas
Roofed patios and pergolas that tie into the existing house so the new structure looks original. Matched rooflines, real framing, and the drainage and footings to back it, not a kit bolted to the back wall.

Outdoor Kitchens
Built-in grills, burners, counters, and storage with the gas, water, and drainage run properly underneath. Weather-rated cabinetry and stone that hold up to a Texas summer and the occasional ice storm.

Decks & Pavilions
Freestanding pavilions and raised decks for lots that fall away from the house or sit on a slope. Engineered footings, hidden fasteners, and materials picked to weather evenly over the years.

Fireplaces & Fire Features
Outdoor fireplaces, fire pits, and chimneys that turn a patio into a place you use past sunset and into the fall. Gas, wood, or both, built to code and sited so the smoke goes where it should.

Pool Surrounds & Hardscape
Decking, patios, retaining walls, and walkways that connect the pool, the house, and the yard into one space. We coordinate around an existing pool or a new one so the hardscape reads as a single design.

Screened Porches & Three-Season Rooms
Screened porches and enclosed three-season rooms that extend the living space without the bugs or the worst of the heat. Finished ceilings, fans, lighting, and the option to add heat for year-round use.
How We Work
The Outdoor Build Process
Four stages, fully transparent. No surprise change orders, no mystery line items.
- 01
Consultation & Site Walk
We walk the yard, talk through how you want to use the space, and scope what the grade, drainage, and existing house can carry.
- 02
Design & Clear Pricing
Drawings, structural and utility design, material selections, and a line-item budget all get locked in writing before work begins.
- 03
Build
Footings, framing, hardscape, utilities, and finishes run under one project manager with progress walkthroughs.
- 04
Walkthrough & Warranty
Final punchlist signed off together, then the documented warranty handoff so you know what is covered and for how long.

FAQs
Outdoor Living Questions, Answered
What does an outdoor living project include?
It can be as small as a covered patio or as large as a full backyard build with an outdoor kitchen, fireplace, pergola, and pool surround. We scope it to how you want to use the space and what your yard can support.
Do you build outdoor kitchens?
Yes. We build full outdoor kitchens with built-in grills, burners, counters, and storage, and we run the gas, water, and drainage properly so it works like an indoor kitchen and survives the weather.
Can you build a covered patio onto my existing house?
Yes, and that is most of what we do. We tie the new roof and framing into the existing structure, match the materials, and pull the permits so the addition is sound and looks original.
Do outdoor projects need permits?
Structures, electrical, and gas almost always do. We pull every permit in your municipality and track the inspections through to sign-off, the same way we run an interior remodel.
When is the best time to build an outdoor space?
We build year-round in DFW. Spring and early summer book up fast, so if you want the space ready for warm weather, it is worth starting the design a few months ahead.
